This is the last post of my recent summer photo shoots. I told you I’ve been busy! But I really can’t think of a side job that could bring me more happiness. Especially when I get to see big extended families who come together from across the country to celebrate a 50th wedding anniversary.
I had the opportunity to meet three generations of one loving family, all coming together to celebrate a love that spans fifty years.
Alice and Marty had a renewal of their vows, of sorts, with their seven grandchildren serving as their wedding party at an intimate gathering in their home. I was lucky enough to be there to capture it.
It was my distinct honor to be there to share in this moment with this couple and their family, as well as to try to capture the emotion of that day.
Oh, if only I can be as blessed as these two, forty-five years from now! What a day.
